Vinculo con Caballo (The Horse's Bond) is up and running

Hi Everyone,
Just wanted to let you know our therapeutic horseback riding program is up and running. Tomorrow is our third week. We have two students, and will have two more by the end of the month. I am adding one at a time. Jose is our first student. He has myathia gravis, was terribly afraid of horses..all animals, but was determined to ride a horse. The first week he could barely sit alone on the horse, needed a lead walker and two side walkers, last week he was riding alone! It was so amazing to see him bond with Titan..just amazing!

Yirlany joined last week, she has Down's Syndrome, a spit fire of a girl with a passion for horses, but hadn't ridden. She choose Gitana our lead mare and also a spit fire. They hit it off right away, and she was riding alone with in 20 minutes. Check it out on you tube:

Thanks to Debbie and Steve ( Leaves and Lizards) and the people of Monterrey, Costa Rica.
